Timothy Harris of Isle Of Wight Studio Glass has worked on a series of limited editions with Guy Thornton of B&W Thornton. Isle Of Wight Studio Glass use their considerable experience to design and make the glass to compliment Guy's graphic design. The collaboration has proved a success over a number of designs.

Isle Of Wight Glass

Isle of Wight Studio Glass was founded by Michael Harris (1933-1994) in 1973. Michael Harris was a master glass maker who established an international reputation for innovation and design. Isle of Wight Glass is now run by his eldest son Timothy Harris who continues the family tradition. Timothy is not only an executive figure he is simply one of the most skilled and influential glass workers of his generation constantly working on new designs and techniques in this most exacting of media.

The collaboration has proved a success, most of the editions selling in good time.

Puck is a pair of designs which concentrate on Puck as shape-shifter. Puck As Herne shows Puck in the guise of Herne the hunter the horned spectre of the Wild Wood. Puck As Ostara shows Puck as Ostara messenger of the moon goddess in hare form. Both designs feature hares a magical animal in folklore associated with shape-sifting and the mythology of the moon.
